In just a few days, the 2014- 2015 school year will be kicking off. We are excited to welcome new and returning students back to class on Monday, Aug. 25. Two keys to our success as a learning organization is parent involvement and effective communication. Decades of research show that when parents are involved at their children’s schools, students have higher grades, test scores and graduation rates; better attendance; increased motivation; better self-esteem; lower rates of suspension; decreased use of drugs and alcohol and fewer instances of violent behavior.
