Juanita Robles, 86, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014. She was born Aug. 29, 1928, in Liberty Hill, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Anselmo “Blue” Robles; a son, Charlie Robles; sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Eloise Robles, Erven and Alice Robles, David Robles, Sonny and Sonya Robles, Ruben Robles; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Clemente Morin, Yolanda and Rusty Felan, Janie and Greg Graf and Patti and Bob Wills. She is also survived by her brothers, Manuel Gonzales and Paul Gonzales. Robles was a beloved grandmother to each of her 44 grandchildren and “Momo” to her 60 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agapeto and Ramona Gonzales; her daughter, Elida Chavez; her brothers, Lupe Gonzales and Joe Salazar; and her grandson, Jason Rojas. She spent the majority of her life as a dedicated homemaker. She was a passionate prayer warrior, devout Catholic and lifelong member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, singing and spending time with her close-knit family. A rosary was held on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Chapel. Funeral services were held Monday Aug. 25, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church. Burial followed at Post Mountain Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Benny Robles, Michael Robles, Mario Robles, Adrian Robles, Cory Lentz, Cleav Robles, Patrick Felan, Jerry Graf and Ryan Robles.
