Travis Leslie Fox, 26, of Burnet, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014. He was born Oct. 11, 1987, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Harry Fox and Leslie Phillips Fox. Fox lived with his family a short time in Wisconsin and California, and then moved to Burnet in June 1989. He graduated from Burnet High School in 2006. Fox loved music, playing in bands, and being with his friends. He also enjoyed art and being with his animals. Fox loved his job working as a landscaper with Premier Landscape Company in Burnet. He is survived by his mother Leslie Fox, of Burnet; father, USAF Master Sergeant Harry Fox (Ret.) of Abbotsford, Wisconsin; brothers, Ron Wilson of Burnet, Greg Wilson of Bertram, Tim Fox and Tom Fox both of Minnesota, and Steven Fox of Abbotsford, Wisconsin; a sister, Shelia Stanton, of South Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Flossie Phillips, of Burnet; a niece, Jamie Wilson, of Marble Falls, and grand- nephew, James Moore of Burnet. Travis is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leslie Phillips, and by two aunts, Kathleen Phillips and Gloria Cordell. A visitation for family and friends was held Friday, Aug. 22, from 3-5 p.m. A graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 23, at 4 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
