The Marble Falls Mustang football team couldn't have asked for a better showing in their opening game at the new Mustang Stadium.
In very convincing fashion, the Mustangs took down a revamped Fredericksburg team 28-7, picking apart the Billies' defense for 305 yards passing. First string running back Austin Sparks wasn't in uniform on Friday night, but the Mustangs used a committee of backs successfully, with leading man Logan Clark scoring a touchdown in the first half and Dalton Ryan picking up the majority of the carries in the second half.
Zed Woerner passed for 305 yards with a touchdown and ran for a pair of touchdowns in the Mustangs win.
