Rotary hosts 9/11 memorial

A Sept. 11 Memorial will be held today at noon to honor Marble Falls Noon Rotary Club Patriot Award Recipients and mark a day of remembrance.
The ceremony will be held outside Lakeside Pavilion at the flag pole. Members of Burnet County, Cottonwood Shores, Granite Shoals, Horseshoe Bay, Marble Falls and Spicewood emergency responders will be given Patriot Awards for their dedicated service to public safety.
Marble Falls Mayor George Russell will give a proclamation before the awards are presented, and there will also be a bagpipe rendition of amazing grace to end the ceremony.
