The Gatesville Hornet's fell from the UIL State Playoffs over the weekend which allowed the 8-3A All District list to be released. The Bulldogs did very well with several members making the list.
Burnet sophomore Kody Hall made the MVP list being named the New Comer of the Year.

First team offensive players from Burnet included Derek Kiser, junior, quarterback; Trenton Hafley, junior, running back; Cameron Langley, senior, tightend; Jordan Barnard, senior, wide receiver; Cody Letterman, senior, center; and James Nesom, senior, offensive line.

Defensive first team players included BJ Walker, senior, defensive line; and Cameron Langley, senior, linebacker.

Junior Austin Huff also made the first team list for place kicking duties.

Sophomore Cory Cavender was selected to the second team offensive list for his wide receiver play.

Defensive second team awards were earned by Austin Esposito, senior, defensive line; Tyler Krause, junior, defensive back; and Austin Huff, junior, punter.

Four Bulldogs were named to the honorable mention list. Those players included Aaron Johns, Blayne Parisher, Jared McHazlett, and Hunter Thomas.
