The varsity Burnet Bulldog baseball team dropped a close district match to Liberty Hill last Friday night, 2-1.

The Panthers scored in the top of the second to take a 1-0 lead but Burnet quickly answered knotting it up at 1-1 in the bottom of the third.

Liberty Hill managed to plate another run in the top of the fourth and the rest of the game ended scoreless giving the Panthers a 2-1 win.
